To Our Web Site And Our World Of Boating
The Smithtown Bay
Yacht Club (SBYC) is located on the north shore of Long Island
(N 40º55.319’
W073º10.038’) near the southeast corner of Smithtown Bay. For turfers, you
will find us tucked away on a quiet and picturesque peninsula called Long Beach
in the Village of Nissequogue, in the Township of Smithtown. The adjacent aerial
view (click on picture for larger view) shows our marina, which is
adjacent to the Smithtown Marina, both of which are on the north shore of the
Porpoise Channel of Stony Brook Harbor. Our clubhouse is hidden in the
trees in the lower left corner. All of
the facilities of the Smithtown Bay Yacht Club, including the clubhouse
and the marina, are available for the exclusive use of members and their guests
only, and are not available to the general public - there are no transient slips
available.
Our Web Site is dedicated to promoting safe and pleasurable boating for our
members and indeed all boaters. We hope to keep you informed, interested and
entertained. Because after all, boating is for the fun of it. You
are invited to surf the pages of our Web Site, which you can reach through the
menus on the left and right of your screen. This site is best viewed at 800 x
600 resolution. Click
