HOUSE Boating is certainly the reason why members belong to the Smithtown Bay Yacht Club. And, boating is the common interest, the bond, upon which friendship and camaraderie are built and woven into the social and recreational activities that are conducted in our Clubhouse and on its grounds. It’s what members and their guests enjoy before and after boating and during those winter months when our boats are hibernating. It’s what we call the "HOUSE". Operation of the House is managed by our Vice Commodore with member support provided from the House Committee as well as the Entertainment Committee and Special Affairs Committee. Several committees, including Grounds, Beach and High Technology provide maintenance of the clubhouse and grounds.
